On the Business Use of Home page, do I have to enter the mortgage interest paid to individuals in both boxes?
No. You may enter an amount that applies directly to the office which will be deducted in full. Your other option is to enter the full mortgage interest and our program will apply the business use of home percent to determine the business portion with the remainder going to Schedule A. |
